“My mission is to create designs that are simple, honest, and meaningful.”
Hello.
My name is Mia Bloomquist, and I am a digital media marketer who loves to think outside of the box. No problem is too small! I love finding and implementing creative solutions, attacking a problem from all sides. My work involves the creation of innovative social media content, fresh websites, and developing a brand’s image to give them all the material and guidance they need to succeed.
“Marketing that reflects who you really are.”
About Me
In my spare time, I take care of a small hobby farm with a few vegetable gardens and a small menagerie of farm animals. I’m an avid reader, reading new books any chance I get (psychology and western classics are my favorite). Creatively, it’s nice to spend some time learning other art skills such as painting, digital illustration, photography, and creating landscape drawings. I find they all help me think more creatively on the projects that I’m working on.
Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and design became the place where my creativity and problem-solving naturally came together. Clark College was where I learned how to shoot and edit video, build websites, create animated videos, and more. I completed many projects, including a website design for a non-profit I volunteer for, Good Vibes Social Club, and creating short advertisements for other local businesses. During my time as a student, I have learned how much I value consistency, growth, reliability, and the satisfaction of working through challenges until everything falls into place. I enjoy collaborating with others and creating work that genuinely helps people. Whether it’s in my design work or small everyday choices, I try to help others feel supported and equipped to succeed. My goal as a social media manager and designer is to use design to support people and businesses around me in a way that feels fair, kind, and accessible.
Two of my strongest values, compassion and community, guide every project:
- Compassion affects why I create and how I create. I listen, I care about your perspective, and I want the work to genuinely support you.
- Community matters to me because the people around me have helped me grow, and I want to give that back. Helping local businesses and organizations succeed is one of the ways I feel I can make a real difference.
Along with those values, I work with responsibility, adaptability, honesty, and have a strong desire to keep learning. I’m committed to doing work that aligns with ethical, sustainable, and fair practices. I try to keep my services accessible, communicate clearly, and continually grow in my skills so I can offer clients the best possible results.
